Red Apple TV honored with top award in state-wide communications contest

Red Apple TV took home a handful of awards in the 2006 Iowa School Public Relations Association Communication Contest. The award presentation was held as part of the ISPRA Spring Seminar, held April 7, at the West Des Moines Learning Center in West Des Moines. Among those awards is the highest honor in the contest, the President's Award.

In its 17th year, the annual communications contest is open to any K-12 school district, area education agency and statewide education organization. The winners were recognized with an Award of Merit or an Award of Excellence. The entry earning the most points in each category received a Blue and Gold Award.
The President's Award is presented to the entry considered the best in the contest.
The Iowa School Public Relations Association is a statewide organization dedicated to improving the understanding and practice of public relations in Iowa schools and building support for education.
